This repository contains the SI, as well as the data and code for replicating the findings related to the paper “Transparency by Chinese Cities Reduces Pollution Violations and Improves Air Quality” published in PNAS. The project analyzes pollution data, firm-level information, city characteristics, and more, to explore the relationship between environmental transparency and pollution levels.
