This article explores the architectural and planning premises for designing cultural and leisure centers as main elements of urban infrastructure. The research analyzes the options of functional zoning, requirements for spatial flexibility and adaptability and the influence of urban context and socio-demographic factors. Particular attention paid to modern trends aimed at creating inclusive, accessible, and comfortable environments for different people and population groups. The research identifies the main principles that determine the effective functioning of cultural and leisure facilities and formulates recommendations for improving architectural solutions in response to new formats of urban leisure and cultural activities.
