Abstract

We prove the existence of common fixed points for two weakly compatible mappings satisfying a 'generalized condition (B)'. This result generalizes some theorems of Al-Thagafi and Shahzad \citeAlThagafi2006 and Babu, Sandhya and Kameswari \citeBabu2008.
