Abstract

In the paper an interaction between a soliton and a traveling wave in the\nCoupled Nonlinear Schr "odinger Equation (CNLSE) is considered. The force\nacting on the soliton can both push or pull the soliton depending on parameters\nof the equation, structure of the soliton and the incident wave. In special\ncases analytical results are presented and in general numerical solutions of\nboth linearized and the full problem are shown.\n
