Abstract

In this paper, we prove several transformation formulas for the very-well-poised bilateral basic hypergeometric ₅ψ₅ series by using the relationship between the bilateral basic hypergeometric ₅ψ₅ series and basic hypergeometric ₈ϕ₇ series.
