We calculate the differences between reaction and interaction cross sections in the collisions of relativistic light ions with A<40 in the framework of Glauber theory. Although, in the optical approximation of Glauber theory these differences are approximately 1% of the reaction cross sections or less, they increase up to 3-4% when all scattering diagrams of Glauber theory are included in calculation.
