Abstract

We study the principal configurations around an isolated \η-umbilical\npoint on a generic spacelike surface S immersed in a null hypersurface M of\nMinkowski space \ℝ₁⁴ relative to a well-defined null vector field\n\η orthogonal to the surface S. In the particular case of M being a\nnull rotation hypersurface of \ℝ₁⁴ we also recover the local\nDarbouxian principal configurations around that kind of \η-umbilical\npoints.\n
