The technology of installation of a new metal chimney 42 meters high, carried out in the cramped conditions of the installation site under the influence of wind load, is presented. Taking into account the cramped conditions of the construction site, it is proposed to carry out geodetic support for the installation of the chimney from two support points located in two directions intersecting at an arbitrary angle of intersection. After the installation of each subsequent section of the pipe, an executive survey was carried out and in the case of unacceptable deviations of the vertical axis, it was brought to the design position. A method and formulas for calculating installation deviations have been developed, and the results of the final executive survey obtained after the completion of the installation of the pipe are presented. To speed up the work, a program in the Excel table has been compiled, which has significantly reduced the time for calculating the deviations of the vertical axis of each section of the pipe.
